Pistachio Honey Frozen Greek Yogurt

Creamy, nutty, and irresistibly refreshing, this pistachio frozen Greek yogurt delivers a smooth texture, plenty of protein, and just the right amount of sweetness. Made with a blend of Nounós Creamery Classic Plain and Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurts, it balances rich pistachio flavor with the tangy goodness of Greek yogurt. Finished with a drizzle of pistachio spread and crunchy crushed pistachios, every scoop feels both indulgent and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 16oz container Nounós Creamery Classic Plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1 16oz container Nounós Creamery Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt

  • 1 8oz container Pistakio Creamy Pistachio Spread, saving a small amount for topping

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • Optional: generous pinch of salt

  • Crushed pistachios, for topping

Steps:

  1. Add the Nounós yogurt, Pistakio spread, honey, and salt to a food processor and blend for two minutes.

  2. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for 45 minutes then use a rubber spatula to stir the mixture, making sure to scrape the edges of the pan. Freeze for three more hours total, removing every 30 minutes to stir the mixture. Stirring prevents ice crystals from forming and helps achieve a smooth and creamy texture, so do not skip these steps.

  3. When the yogurt is entirely frozen all the way through, you’re ready to serve! If it’s behaving more like soft serve than scoopable ice cream, simply freeze for another hour until you reach your desired texture. If you decide to freeze overnight, let the ice cream thaw at room temperature before serving. Top with toppings and enjoy.
